  • The last two I posted still nobody confirmed got shipped or received. :(

    • I know that's why I ordered this one. The store had stock and they even had one more brand-new one

  • Stock still at Bunbury, Redbank, Carousel, Mt Gambier, Point Cook, Modbury Tea Tree Plaza, Frankston, Mentone, Springvale, Rosny Park, Glenorchy, Burnie,Traralgon, Rhodes, Liverpool, Bateau Bay, Jesmond, Mittagong, Swan Hill.

Low stock at many other locations

  • All gone

  • I think I saw these at my local DSE (Shepparton, VIC) today, but only glanced at them and thought "Oh, does someone actually still use landline phones these days?" and kept going.

worth noting that DECT6 is 2.4GHz vs DECT which is 1.8GHz - this is pretty much the only difference (1.8GHz isnt available for public use in the US unlike EU/AU) so DECT6 will interfere with most wireless networks with DECT wont
thankfully it seems on checking that XDECT-R is back on 1.8GHz so these r OK

sorry but dect 6.0 is 1.9ghz - the main issue with it is that gap is not supported so handsets might not register to bases of a different brand, unlike true dect

Apologies - it was Uniden WDECT i was thinking of that is 2.4GHz. Have a chest infection and a head full of mucus, and am half dead from trying to move house on top, not surprising I got mixed up, but at least all the salient differences are out there lol - thank you for catching my error :)

  • Bought this from TGG about 8 months back for $69 approx. The handset is very slow. Address book or any button press takes a few seconds open. Blutooth does connect to phone (nokia e72 and galaxy note 2), but can not take calls (hear nothing). Not a good phone.

I have had a pair these for about a year.
I agree the handset is slow for address book and even last number dialled takes a couple of seconds.
But other than that works fine. They are permanently paired with a couple of iPhones. Mobile reception is not great in most of the house so we can leave the mobiles where the reception is the best and use the cordless phones anywhere even down the street.

Pity there is no stock any near me, I'd buy this just for the extra handsets.

      • Yeah, the BT feature is pretty cool. Pity you are not in Melbourne because a few stores still have stock. Picked mine up just now but haven't played with them yet. Managed to pick up an xbox kinect adventure bundle for $74.50 so going to play with that first.

Got one from Cannington (Carousel) they have four more new units in stock. Phone is excellent for the price, replaced an older style Uniden system we had that needed new batteries. Tried the cheap eBay batteries but they last for 6 months then die. So great find!

    • Frankston still had 4 brand new units in stock yesterday too.
