Nice find. But this kind of deals are mostly in particular store.

  • Not in some VIC,bought yesterday for 12 bucks
    please mention NSW

  • Target had similar packs for $2.83. There were 3 different types depending on the length of the HDMI cable.

  • Bugger, I bought this when it was down to $15. You can actually ask the guy to do price match, I saw one store put it down to $15, few days later I need the power surge so just walk in the closest store, it scanned original price but the guy at checkout put it down to $15. This is in VIC

  • Hey guys, slightly offtopic but..

I have crappy reception on my tv - I can get all channels except channel 10 at times, do you think it could be my antenna cable? If I use a gold one instead of the "silver" one I already have, do you think it'd make a difference?

Nope, unfortunately. Would be your aerial at fault.

I'm not sure what it's called but you can get a little booster, it basically plus into the mains and amplifies the signal through to your television. It might solve your problem, it did for us.

You can try getting a signal amplifier (a preamp) which sits between the antenna and the TV and boosts the signal. It requires a power point.

If that doesn't work, you'd likely need a new antenna.

    • I did a bit of research on the problem, and a couple of posts on whirlpool says that there is interference from other cabling behind the tv acting on the antenna cable (it's one of those crappy $2 ones).

I think I'll try getting a quad shielded antenna cable first, then try a booster if that fails.

      Thanks guys! :D

'Honey, let's go to Al… Dee Why are on there?'

Probably get a similar powerboard from Bunnings for ~$2, and regularly find HDMI cables on ebay for<$2.
    The TV cable is useless.

You are reply is appropriate. I dont know why you getting negged.

      • +4

Your use of "your are" is not appropriate.

Either way, unless the he can post a link to a surge protected power board at bunnings for $2 he is going to get downvoted. Having bought a cheap power board from bunnings a few weeks back i can tell you they don't have a $2 surge board.

  • Hdmi cables are very poor. I replaced my aldi one as had such poor signal causing flicker and sparkles.

    • You could have got a 2M high speed HDMI cable for $2.95 today on the catchoftheday deal.
