Tried again on PC - success
Code now works for $7.47 multimeter - seems placed order before their system was ready!

    HAHAHA FEATURES:
■Special needs (For patrolling, hunting and arresting, inspecting, as well as light shooting and so on)
■Please don't point at people's eyes directly for the powerful light is harmful and it will make you blind, especially for the kid

Another torch deal!! 30Lumens - what a laugh! Won't impress those longing for the bright lights. But cheap!

Have a few of these in a drawer - bought for $10 many years ago at Supercheap Auto.
Not that bright, switch soon becomes faulty, takes 3 AAA batteries mounted in plastic holder

Better off with stronger light & more robust 1 AA torch for about $3.50 imho
(AA is higher capacity battery; easier to recharge 1 than 3 & put in holder; cheaper to buy/run with 1 than 3 batteries)
old deals on same size torch, but so much brighter…
    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/102246 $3.95 360 Lumens AA
    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/100436 $3.64 210 Lumens AA

    30 Lumens Super Bright

LOL. A candle would output more light.

  • found a cheaper multimeter on ebay. not sure if it's of similar quality but it's almost half price

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-LCD-Digital-Multimeter-DT830B…

maybe someone more knowledgeable can comment?

    • Yes - a much cheaper meter for $4.
The one for $7.46 is much better (hold, backlight, continuity buzzer, rubber holster with stand,…)
Those are very handy features if you use a meter a bit. Have happily been using a lesser model of this 1 for years.
If you just need a basic meter, the one you found is OK.
      Jaycar have a meter for $5 http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=QM1502&CATID=97&…

      • thanks for the advice!

please do not copy engrish when posting.

if 30 lumens is super bright, then the recent 1000lumens one is called ? god-fearing god of gods bright?

come to think of it i don't recall all my torches minimum output isn't even lower 30lumen. unless i turn it off. damn.

Bright enough to set paper alight… but it lasts a mere 5 minutes. The manufacturers dub it as simply "The Torch" but I would be cool with it even if they named it the "Burning eye of Sauron".

      • actually that one is a gimmick, it is the lens itself that is hot due to the halogen bulb used. The emitted light is not hot. (unlike their lazers, which is another class.)

see how they have to hold the torch close to nearly touch the black paper? ;)

        anyway. 5000lumens :
