False advertising, 20000 Lumen so 100W+ powerdraw? Get a reputable brand like one of the common Wuben C3 deals for a better product overall.

    • Have used this and bought a latest version, works well. Got Wuben C3 and is has more range, brighter but bit bigger than Wuben. No wonder the battery is bigger too.

    • But wuben is 1200 lumens only

        i have a bridge to sell you…

  • 20k, yeah right

    • High Lumens model 🤣

  • Pfft I got a Lightning God XLM5000 last week that was rated “as bright as the sun” for $12.50 last week.

This thing is a rip off

A torch doubling as a flashlight

The ladies must love this, maybe the guys will navigate around more satisfactorily

Needs a more pretty box though

Yeah I saw that "deal". Went through the history here and on Reddit and plenty people of not recommending the brand.

It has gone from 10,000 to 15,000 to 20,000 lumens…

Probably better off with Wuben or Sofirn

  • That led is capible of 4292lm maximum light output.

    • Yep the emitter can't do anywhere near 20,000.

Unless I'm reading it wrong, the XHP70.2 could deliver about ~9500lm according to one BLF test. BUT, that's with a >20A power supply and >7V (the 3xAAA in this kit is <5V). LED will be drawing 170W and probably frying fingers at that point.

YGWYPF - no runtime or voltage regulation info.

      • Probably de-domed too

I never trust the torches with false lumen claims..

  • +5

Wow. Double the fake lumens from previous deals.

Neg'd as the product description is outright fraud.

  • Is this the one that turns night into day?

The whole sun thing is just a conspiracy.

It's actually just a bunch of these, controlled by the Illuminati.

I have so many of these $30 or so shit CCP Torches laying around.

The old Energiser has outlasted them all by 10.

These things are so bad that even mentioning Shadowhawk on r/flashlight used to get a ban.

  • These are terrible. There's a handful of reputable brands on Amazon that I'd recommend: Wuben, Wurkkos, Sofirn. If you're not shopping off Amazon, Convoy is worth checking out.

  • Take a zero off the Lumins. Its roughly 2000lm. Comes with a 26650 battery and the 3x aaa holder. Get around 1hr full brightness. Good for a throw around torch at this price. Ive bought 3 and they all still work fine.

Mods refuse to remove an obviously fradulent post, and invited me to contact the police when it was reported as an obvious scam.

This is the level of diligence they think the users of this site are worth.

    • It's a far-too-regular Amazon problem woith torches and various electronic items. You should contact the seller and Amazon Au about it if you're concerned. They may or may not react if you mention Australian Consumer Law regarding misleading advertising. If you were from family Trump you could also contact Bezos and tell (not ask) him to clean up the often ludicrous descriptions of Chinese (primarily) products advertised on his marketplaces.
