Fujifilm X100 Black edition - $754.60 plus shipping at e-infin

30

At around $750 this camera is about $1000 off the list price when released. Now superseded by the X100S, but still a fine camera. I ordered mine from e-infinity on Tuesday, paid AU$ to a local paypal account, and it arrived Thursday. Great camera, great service! Get 'em before they're all gone!

apart from the color, what's the difference between them ?

        • this one comes with a number of accessories, leather case, uv filter, screw adapter, lens hood etc.

but why black is limited? black is boring. colours edition like pentax is what drive me to DSLR

The X100 isn't about colour. It's an enthusiast/semi-professional camera for people who care about image quality above all else. People who use this camera are not the same people who want a pink or green SLR!

Black is classic, timeless. Color edition Pentax DSLR are gawky and embarrassing.

  • The most important question. Is this seller reliable?

  • The local price for X100S + lens hood / adaptor / filter/ case is over $1500. I would actually have preferred the 'classic' silver with brown leather case - but heh - half price for the (still brilliant) 'old' model is terrific. And if you have to ask about colour - well, you just don't get it!!! This camera is not for everyone. Steep learning curve to get the best out of it…

    • with those accessories it is a good buy. If I did not have one i would buy it.

  • Is the seller reliable? That's the $64,000 question! So far they have been superb - even sent me a photo of the goods I ordered prior to and at shipping. Arrived in 2 days, paid to an AU paypal account in AUD$. Warranty of course demands I pay for freight to and from HK, but since the other option I was looking at was buying 2nd hand on Ebay, there would have been NO warranty at all. But reliable - you bet!
