Oh perfect! thanks rep, just what I needed for winter and a freezing autumn :)

    • +1

Most fans have an option of Winter mode, where the fan reverses and pushes the hot air down (generally they tend to stay UP). As per description, this fan has it too..

  • Hiya rep, does this have a light in the middle? if not, do you have any with light on sale?

  • Hi, we have the clipper lights as an add on option on the listing too.

  • " IN THE ELECTRICAL WHOLESALERS AND LARGE DISCOUNT WAREHOUSES FOR $90+"

Firstly, why the need to yell at us?

Also why list how much it costs there when you can get the white (don't have the silver listed, but I'm sure you can get it) for only $61.10 from Bunnings.

    • mate, because this blows hot air up into the ceiling where everyone can feel it! ;O

You really should check your facts before you start talking. You won't get stainless steel fans for a couple of bucks more than the white ones, not anywhere, no, not even Bunnings. (unless there's a similar sale on)

This is actually a very god price for these, as anyone who knows what they're on about could tell you.

      • +1

This isn't a stainless steel fan the rep is selling. It's an aluminium fan and the exact same one as Bunnings is selling (check model number)

    • you have just made my day :D

Checked this week, and it's $87 in our local Bunnings! Nobody is yelling, caps lock was on that's all?

    • +3

      lol rep.

140cm which isn't this deal is $87 at Bunnings:
      http://preview.tinyurl.com/140cmfan

Or the item you're actually selling (but as white on the website):
      http://preview.tinyurl.com/120cmfan

^ sold at the standard price of $61.10. Hence my question why you list the price in the title with an implication of it normally being $90+

You stated it being 90+ (at some wholesaler rubbish) yet acknowledge it (although the wrong model) as $87 at bunnings. Why list as a $90+ when you yourself thought it was available for $87?

Misleading and shonky business practices. Note to self: not buying anything from rep's business.

While all caps can be used as an alternative to rich-text "bolding" for a single word or phrase, to express emphasis, repeated use of all caps can be considered "shouting" or irritating.

  • What would be a good deal then ?

Why do people post such crap with no intention of buying, sorry i round up $3 which is a such a crime! If it was free people would still argue and complain, its cheaper than anywhere on the market, i know this because it is cost + 2.50 for me, which tbh isn't a great deal of margin when considering the flack you take for trying to offer a deal!

    • +4

      rounded up $3?

      $90 - $61.10 = $28.90

      You rounded up $28.90

    • +1

Why do people post such crap with no intention of buying

Because the site lets people comment on the deal. If you don't like that, don't advertise here.

What are you talking about, its $87+ Bunnings so no I didn't, try find some Ozbargain batteries for your calculator or reading glasses. I simply quoted the market price and stated our price @ $59 which is a bargain whether you agree or not.

    • Dont sweat it too much - most people here are into tech clothes and other related things such as laptops and headphones. Might not be your target group. I reckon you could do better with some of your pendant lighting and Edison bulbs though.

Also if 1/20th of the people on this forum are like most of my friends they probably don't even know how to use tools let alone install a fan. :)

So true! Keep getting smashed on here but still trying. Having a sale for end of financial year so dropping most web listed prices over next few days, especially fans. Most people try buy them cheap in winter, hence my offer. Cheers for this.

The 140cm fan is $87 on Bunnings. You're selling the 120cm fan however which is listed as $61.10

It's quite simple really. Perhaps it is you that needs glasses rep.

      • -1

For gawds sake stop banging on about the $61.10 one at Bunnings. Sheesh!

The OP didn't say that people can buy the same thing at Bunnings for $90+

By the way, the OP was selling it previously for $69 (link will show that until it gets reindexed): http://www.myshopping.com.au/1S--Search?Find=hpm%20fan

        • +2

But really it's misleading advertising. OP is making implication you're saving $30 or so by purchasing with him. Potentially rushing some into an impulse purchase. Really you're saving around $2.

        • +2

Its a great price if you take into account delivery.

    • I think he use Google glass

  • +1

Decent price but rep is pretty unprofessional, would be a bit worried about warranty claims etc.

  • +2

Also isn't it pretty dodgy that the rep/website now makes out the previous price to be $99 when on May 13th they were selling this fan for $79, not $99 as the website implies

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:bUqO6jw…

Their site currently states: "RRP: $99.00 (You save $40.00)"

No really you only save $20 based on what it was listed as around a week ago.
