take a further 75% off and maybe i'd be willing to go back to 3 blade razors again, maybe…
and a further 100% and id be willing to go back to shaving, i just used a trimmer now at the shortest size.
I'm asian so this is probably a 6 year supply of blades :O
For some middle eastern guys, thats only a months supply
Same can be said for some middle eastern women too.
Real men don't shave.
I have a pretty thick beard but I can get a blade to last at least 4 months. Come on, we are oz bargainers…. How long do you guys get a single blade to last?
go back to shaving with just 2 blades and tell me extra blades dont matter
I try to make a four pack last 3 months
is that bad ?I get the gillette fusion blades or the schick hydro to last about three months each. But I rotate through a four pack over a period of a year. I have grades of blades. The newest for a close shave and the oldest for a rough shave when I have let my beard grow for a few days.
Actually the last time I bought blades were when the Schick ones were half price a few years ago. I only bought two packs. And I still have some gillette blades from four years ago.
I think people prematurely get rid of the blades, even when they are working quite well.
Wow, 48?
I'm on the last cartridge I got from this deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/70203
which was 1 full year ago, and that deal was only 16 cartridges. (and I shave daily.)
That means this pack should last you until mid 2016!So what exactly are you shaving?
i don’t trust catchoftheday anymore; they sell the cheap and crap stuffs
I bought same cheap cartridges when I went to Singapore last time then i realized i wasted my money as i can use a cartridge once but when I buy genuine gillette cartridge (spent 28$ for 8), I could able to use at lease 20- 30days for regular saving. This type of cheep stuffs you can use only once thats all. I am not sure how to check the genuine gillette but its really worth if you guys have any clue.Had an issue recently with a group buy site where they sent something from China, and it was not the same brand shown, but that probably explains why it was cheap.
This COTD deal on these blades looks odd, they are comparing the price of the Australian price at Coles but are supplying a Brazillian Blade, isnt the Aussie stock made in Germany? It is likely the blades being sold may perform different to Aussie retailed blades.
Another issue I had last year with Scoopon (COTD's sisters Site)! Bought a scoopon to print a photo in a glass frame from a site called "snappysumo http://www.snappysumo.com.au" and paid 89$. I went to their site to upload my photo to print it but i couldnt able to upload it (well i am working in IT it's was a challenge for me to do it :) ) I sent bouch of emails to snappysumo admin they never replied to my email. I tried call their support number (ofcourse its a fake #) no one answered. Then i went back to scoopon where i bought this scoopon from. they replied to my email (which was a good part of them ) but when i asked for refound they totally refused and pointed their term and conditions. They kept ask me to contact Sumo site. What i did , I emailed to sumo and CC'd to scoopon 3x emails per day. The drama went 3 weeks and then Scoopon replied "we have been trying to contact sumo site and they are not responding so we can refund your money" well thats what i need. Since that happened…i am totally doubt about COTD,Scoopon, alibaba, and few other sites..I do cross check if i really need to buy any…spending extra $$ at local shops at lease we can get what we after…
If you're after a cheap and much better shave than gillette's over priced shit cartridges then look into 'double edge' shaving 10c a blade.
I think I paid about half this price for my Philips electric shaver.
Big W has a pack of 8 on sales for 19.70 currently but this one is much better, a whole year no worries about it lol
