  • Removable Battery Pack: Detachable Li-Polymer (2950mAh)

    +1 for this

Can charge your phone via usb from battery back

  • damn…thats cheap…just got a couple

    fiddy odd on amazon

  • Apparently works well as an audio speaker, well as a battery charger but poorly as a speakerphone on account of a poor microphone.

  • great price but caution as some reviews on amazon say speakerphone does not work very well though music plays great

Ok, the streaming audio sound is still great. Then I tried making calls with it. First time I tried I called a place that had me on hold for 30 minutes. Then the operator comes on and guess what she can't hear me and hangs up! Arrgh! I call my buddy, he can't hear me. I unpair and repair the speaker with my phone and test the microphone quality on a voice mail. very very disappointing. it was crackly with sporadic drop out (though maybe that was my cell connection.). I compared the voice quality to the phone's speaker phone and to a new Blue Ant S4. The Blue Ant and phone quality were both very high. The BTS200 voice quality, not really acceptable—might as well use your phone's speakerphone.

So… two of the products three functions work very well. I may keep it on that basis—for listening to music and the portable battery system. If you're going to use this for music and don't want to use its speakerphone function you can disable that through your phone and just use it for audio. I tried using the BTS200 for music and the Blue Ant for phone. When I called the phone with music playing it shut off the music to the BTS200 and put the call through to the Blue Ant (but you could have it stay on the phone).

Conclusion—this is a great sounding portable speaker system for your phone. Or you can pull the battery out and use it for charging other devices. But relying on this product for good blue tooth phone quality (microphone) would be a mistake. There are other devices out there that do the phone and music both very well, but they cost a lot more.

    • anyone know how many mAmp's the battery charger is
I want to use it to power a Raspberry PI on the move

  • Funny the reviews i read said it was fine for one or two people to use as a conference.

  • I keep missing on such deals as I get the Ozbargain newsletter after the day the deals are posted. What's the best way to catch up these deals and not wait for the ozbargain news letter (daily mail) ? Do you guys have a link to bookmark and refresh ?

    • I use RSS feeds. FeddlerPro for IOS and Google Reader on PC. Syncs over different devices. Although I think Google is discontinuing reader soon so will have to switch to another RSS provider. I like the RSS feeds as it allows you to quickly see the deal title without having to load up websites. Also as it is text is is good way to view on a smaller screen such as a phone.

  • Well I ordered this and it hasn't arrived. Not BingLees fault. Its been sitting on the couriersplease delivery truck for two days. the company keeps saying its going to be delivered in an hour and it never rocks up. I highly suggest you avoid dealing with companies that use couriers please. I googled the courier company and apparently its pretty lousy.

    • After 3 days sitting on truck for delivery it was delivered somewhere else. It says delivered to someone but no one around here got it.
