Hoping Win 8.1 makes it more usable than Win 8, if not will try to put Mint or Chrome on it!
There is a little bit of keyboard flex, but very quite so could also do media centre duties.

FYI, as an example, you can get Acer Aspire E1-571G-33114G75Mnks from MSY for about $100 extra, which features i3 processor and discrete graphics.
Or you can do away with the discrete graphics and get this which is slightly cheaper than the E1-571G-33114G75Mnks (especially after an Officeworks PM)

ironic that I see a chromebook ad next to it for the same price. really don't see how it's worth it at their current price point. they should bring it on par with the US prices of $100 cheaper.
anyway decent laptop for good price. basic functions should be fine
would this laptop be suitable for internet browsing, watching movies and using lightroom without lag? possibly having all 3 open at once?
CPU is a bit weak but it should be able to handle those tasks ok. Not sure about Lightroom as adobe still lists Pentium 4 as one if it's required specifications, but performance would certainly vary on the size and complexity of your work.
This laptop was on special at Dicksmith for a low $230 a week ago.
