$29.99/Y We're Cheaper Than Your Host Sale

30
WCTYHS

What if I told you there was a better deal?

What if I told you it included:

  • Fast servers in the Uber network.
  • 24 / 7 Phone Support
  • 1 hour email response times
  • A real SLA with compensation for downtime of 100% of the month.
  • 5GB of disk space.
  • 100GB of monthly transfer

All this? How much? $29.99

You wont find an Aussie host that can match that, especially the 24/7 phone support.

The catch? It goes up to a whopping $4 per month after the first year.

To order, go to www.serversinseconds.com.au, and use the promo code WCTYHS with the Starter AU plan in our ordering system.

Your accountant will like us.

dude thats a bit harsh… could ask a bit nicer! your gonna scare eveyone from posting possibly decent deals!

      • Well this isn't a decent deal.
Look at the title "$29.99/Y We're Cheaper Than Your Host Sale" this guy doesn't give a shit otherwise he'd actually follow the posting guidlines.
        It's just spam spam spam.

        • Very arrogant and shady operation. This is his second venture after his first one left customers high and dry and resulting in some contacting lawyers.

EDIT: Here's the ABR Lookup http://www.abr.business.gov.au/SearchByAbnHistory.aspx?abn=4… he still has Servergrade registered as a trading name.

        • Matthew Simon Goodwin later sold Servergrade to Uber Global http://abr.business.gov.au/SearchByAbnHistory.aspx?SearchTex… who are now his registrar

This is Matthews Web Design site http://www.mattg.com.au/faq/lower-prices.html

Why are your prices so much lower than other web development companies?

I simply have less costs than my competitors and can afford to offer lower rates.

By doing the bulk of my website programming at home, and therefore not having to pay each week for an office, reduces the cost for my clients.

Not bad for the first year. Although for future plans cheap US hosting + cloudflare is good too.

  • Any special price for 2 years deal :)
How about yearly special discount for Best Selling Hosting deal?

    • Sorry st.anger, we can;t do anything for the second year. $4 per month is cost price, and we're running a special for one year.

We'll do you a deal on the Value AU plan you mention though. Use the coupon code NFP7U4NHN2 for 50% off your first year.

    Not this shit again…
You had a "deal" last week
    Deal Postings By Stores
    25serversinseconds.com.au (100.0%)
    Total: 25
    Average: 0.7/week

And nearly every week you have a sale.

      Hi pommm.

Discount retailers have some sale or another every week. Ever seen the specials board at your favourite restaurant? The dishes change but something's on special every night!

The difference is that those restaurants don't spam Ozbargain every time they change their specials board each night.

  • "We're Cheaper Than Your Host" well no your not…yet. Lets talk multiple domains (50+) reseller under $50 per year.

    • In Australia? With 24/7 phone support?

Sure you can pick up US hosting, or even Indian hosting, for cents.

No offense, and I certainly encourage questions, but it's apples with oranges.

None taken yes the US. Care to compete internationally? If not no worries. Would love to hear why hosting is more expensive here in Australia. In reality the speed difference is not much different with a decent US host. Oh and yes I get 24/7 support.

        • +2

We've done US hosting in the past, and may well do it again.

The problem is not finding a cheap supplier, rather a great supplier. None that I've dealt with in the past have been truly up to scratch, and we've paid more than a fair price for the service.

I'd have to disagree that an extra 150ms doesn't make a difference. It's not about speed, it's about the experience a client has coming to your site, and everything counts.

Different sites require different needs, but I'd prefer to offer our client's the best.

Bandiwdth here is overpriced. Im currently looking for a well priced vps with about 400gb of bw….

        • I'm guessing these but I think Aus hosting is more expensive compared to the US due to:
          1) operating expenses, including labour and electricity consumption are higher. Labour is more expensive here, electricity is massively more expensive ( US wholesale price is 11.9 cents per kWH, but for NSW is at least 54 cents).
          2) capital costs such as hardware including servers, switches etc, have at least 10% premium due to the GST, and that is not including volume discounts that the US providers can negotiate.
          3) cost of wholesale bandwidth.

No dice. Zuver has the same plan for $24.96 per annum - and that's their standard rate. They don't have 24/7 telephone support, but really the only customers you are selling to are small-time operators who likely NEVER need customer telephone support.

    • Hi apate.

EHave you ever seen a support queue for a discount host, especially one that posts on Ozbargain?

It's more requests than you think, especially given new website owners seem to require twice the support at the lowest possible price.

Add that to the fact we do some web development support as well, and we're offering a serious bargain.

    This isn't webhostingtalk…

  • good deal!

i already signed up with you on another promotion but have not used it yet since my US hosting is all i need for now (later i will use you guys).

  • +1

The price is not really a bargain if compared with US hosting. However everything in AU is expensive, power bills, labour cost, etc.
    Use cola as example:
Writer : Why cola in AU is double priced than other countries, especially Asian countries?
CEO: Can you ask your employees to cut half of their incomes?

If this site offers 24/7 support and fast email reply. I assume is a great deal. For small businesses without large volume of visits, even an Indian hosting is good enough while for business looking for a stable, fast web hosting, I’d say this offer is fine.

Lots of ads emphasizes "Australian Made" which may make you proud. But behind of this you need to pay more.

  • when you call the number you get staff with American accents. so this is some sort of on-selling setup for another company. Anyway, it's not a bad offer just the same. i haven't heard anything negative so far.

  • does this deal includes free domain name?

  • While you are cheaper than my current host, you also provide A LOT less.

  • I've cleaned up the links here, but had a look at his previous deals — all of them have no less than 3 links back to his website with spammy link text. SEO much?
