  • SOLD OUT

    • Sold out it is indeed. Only had a small window of opportunity as mentioned at the time of posting this deal to grab it.

  • Yeah, looks like it's gone.

For $29.95 I guess this one is the next best thing: https://www.oo.com.au/Laser-8-Way-Power-Surge-Protec_P88020C6037.cfm?cm_sp=SubCatFilter--TestC--Product

Hard to compare as I can't access the original deal. Only thing I don't like about it is the brand, not a fan of Laser so I wouldn't personally buy it.

EDIT: This one incurs delivery too, so $38 delivered is a double blow.

  • It's not really a deal.

It's 85 cents cheaper including delivery (but a worse model) than the un-discounted price here:

    http://www.esold.com.au/arista-8-port-powerboard-individual-…
This one is better because it has individual switches on each of the sub-outlets. You could make your 85c and more back with that feature if you wanted to :p Also shipping cap of $9.95 is good if ordering multiple units.

COTD have the same unit as esold (but in white) occasionally, they sell for $20 plus post. If you could get that with a free shipping coupon (probably hoping for too much, but I managed to pull it off) then that's a proper bargain.

    • I got the DSE ones when they were $19.90 delivered, and also have an Aldi one which was the same price. In fact I've never paid over $20 for such a board.

      • I've got a DSE one too. I replaced it with the one above - since I much prefer having the individual switches on each sub-outlet.

        • Good point, I didn't notice that. I too like individual switches - handy when I have 16 appliances plugged in at any one time in my home office! I think I'll grab myself one, thanks :)

        • Read below - please nobody buy these. Sorry Click_It :(

Having bought two of them before and found them both unusable, I wouldn't touch them with a 10 ft pole…..

      • Oh, ouch. Wish I'd known.

Mine are waiting for me to have enough free time to reorganise my setup, sad to know they are probably duds.
