the DS deal is MUCH better. I'm considering replacing my old-style wiimotes with these crappy add-ons. It's just really uncomfortable, the extra length makes using the wiimote horizontally impossible.
unless you want to me plugging this thing on and replacing the silicon covers every time you change games get the all-in-one units.just be aware that most of the newer wii motion plus are incompatible with the Dolphin emulator if your interested in that kind of thing and will most likely also not work for android or ios apps too at least for a long time.
and if you don't mind used or White attachments you can easily get them (wiimotion plus adapters) at various Cashconverters for 5$
