Free shipping. Pretty sure it was created avoid paying shipping on Starlight donations, but works site wide.
No idea how long it will last.

So a company is raising money for a children's charity and you are encouraging others to use the (poorly implemented) method as a way to defraud the company.
This is what makes it difficult for managers to be convinced that community engagement like this is worth the hassle.
You say that as if part of community engagement is having exploits implemented on their site. This is no different to any other promotion, pricing, or error. This certainly isn't "what makes it difficult for managers" to support the community, it's borderline irrelevant. The charity isn't losing money from this, and EB shipping sucks anyway.
Most importantly…
Also this is EB using the starlight foundation's to push more profits, like the mount franklin and the pink foundation, sure it benefits the charity but it profits them a whole lot more.
They created the free shipping code, not us.
Their shipping should be free, its shit. Wish Game still existed, their parcel system was amazing.
Well, catchoftheday has taken game.com.au - maybe it will come back as a crash of the day style site.
catchoftheday hasn't really had many bargains of late, and last time I bought from them it had a ridiculous call time wait for the item then slow shipping as well.
:|
I would hate for Game to become to that.
I do agree that deals on catchoftheday has been limited of late, although I did pick up the Sony wireless PS3 headset for $69.95 and that was a great purchase.
Free shipping is good if you don't live near an EB Games but for piece of mind, I prefer to choose pick-up in-store as I've had plenty of poorly packed goods damaged in post. I'd much rather go the extra effort and pick it up myself.
I live near my local Eb Games and most of the time they don't have what is on the web site, so yes the free shipping is very handy.
With the free shipping, their prices went back to full RRP and the store is still having sale.
Full RRP is right… example..
BF3 Premium… EB $68 … JB HiFi $34 (in store yesterday 2285)
EBGames advertised games for 20$ online but if you're going to buy it in store they will asked you to pay $29.
Works with the Galaxy S4 deal too
