I purchased 2day and during installation, noted that the order date is 29/4, obviously American time. I wonder then if you have until tomorrow Australian eastern time 8pm, which would be midnight in hawaii to purchase/redeem?
It seems you can only install it on one laptop forever…

I bought four from HN in brisbane CBD. The lady didnt care. I didnt bother upgrading them to 13 as they will be used on xp anyway.
Just went to order, they're saying for online that 'WE'RE JUST CHECKING OUR STOCK LEVELS. BACK ONLINE SOON'. I asked via their 'Chat Now' function what on earth this meant (ie could I order or not), and they very helpfully said "It means their checking stock levels".
Glad I asked.Ordered anyway & paid via paypal with the 21 day advance option so I can either pay if they actually send it or cancel the order and not pay if they don't.
How did you order online? Or did you do online order with store pickup?
I tried to find out via their chat if it was going to come back into stock … Biggest waste of time today!
I'm curious to know too - when I go to order online I either have to pick a store (which all are out of stock so I can't) or pay an extra $10 for delivery.
Got one from Edgewater in WA. The store guy even informed the wife that the upgrade ended tonight, which is nice of him.

Office 365 or 2013?Got one from broadway on the mall in the brisbane cbd. I must be getting old but I think I prefer Office 2007.
I had office enterprise on my old machine but it died and I had no discs for new install but had the activation key.
Microsoft played hardball and said I had to buy a new version again which I sure as hell wasnt about to do.
Thankfully, KAT has several versions of 2007 and 2010 that dont even need activation codes to work.
I guess thats what happens when you play silly games microsoft
Here's a free equivalent software for those who aren't aware. Can save to PDF, Apple…format thing, word document etc including powerpoint, databases, excel etc etc. Saves in all formats and can open all formats.

I was hoping to upgrade too but still waiting on HN to get their act together. I'm starting to wonder if it makes sense to pay $28 'only' to remove the ad sidebar, which doesn't take much away from the 1920 available pixels. ;]
I purchard more for a working version of PowerPoint… Not something the starter version has. I want going to upgrade but at this price it is worth it esp since I'm a student again and I will be doing presentations

Ordered yesterday afternoon online and picked Sunshine, VIC store for pickup.
Got email today saying that the order has been redirected to Swan Hill, VIC store, which is about 400km away from the Sunshine store.
Email to complain and they agree to post to me free of charge.
Has anyone upgraded yet? Yesterday it told me to wait 24h after 2010 activation, and now it says my code isn't active yet o_O
I have done the upgrade, it takes at most 7-8 minutes for your 2010 product to get activated on Microsoft Activation Servers and then you can go ahead and order your free 2013 upgrade. I can definitely confirm that.
Can you try it now, I am sure it should work.
that's what i figured when I activated office 2010 yesterday, but hours later and today 2013 still isn't working. Did you have to download 2010 at all?
it worked after I download and installed the 2010. 5 minutes later 2013 was sweet :).
you have to download, install and activate Office 2010, then only u can upgrade to 2013..
i got the same message b4 installing it.. but after installing, activating and i go to the upgrade page again.. it upgrade the version to 2013… without any issues..but i guess its too late now, since it's already 2nd of May :-)
BTW, they still appear to have stock of this item ("Limited Stock" - Just like it was limited yesterday…)

Bought 30/04 early, paid by CC and called Martin Place ( re pickup ).
Advised to wait, called again - asked to wait email, finally called 04/05 - told
oversold etc … Anyone had similar experience ? Great servicde Harvey >>>>I bought online and it arrived yesterday… from WA…. No hope of getting the upgrade but then again I want to crash hot on 2013. I've only had positive experiences with the guys at Martin Place.
Interesting turn of events;
- Didn't have time to wait on hold to the online sales team, so shot them an email last weekend, never heard back
- Until today : order shipped in full! Woot!Well yesterday I finially recieved my key and today decided to install it.
All worked good, but then I decided to check that the 2013 offer had actually expired.

I still haven't received my copy. Like everyone else I ordered in late april.
Today is the third time they have called me and told me that the shipment has been delayed.
I ttill don't have it and they say it won't be in stock until Thursday 23 May. Not good enough.
HN can complain all they want about online businesses eating them alive - but at least you get software in a timely manner online. I've never had a good experience with them. I should have known better.
I haven't received my copy yet either. Order status still says "processing". They haven't bothered to contact me at all.
