Just received their email, and was surprised no one has posted it on Ozbargain yet. :0

For those wanting to get some winter gear before the cold starts to descend on us. I've never been to one myself, so not really sure how much of a bargain this is. Please feel free to share your experience.

    Nup. Had two legitimate orders cancelled by them now. Can't neg because it's not a valid reason, but have warned all my travelling friends of this lot.

      Not sure if this is the same as the online store. This sale is at the actual warehouses where you have to go there to purchase and pick up your goods.

        Meh. Tarred with the same brush: snowscum has a terrible company ethos, unethical and uncommunicative. They'll not get a cent from me.

        Edit: but kudos to you for posting Mamajo. I think as a community we have to be careful to separate criticism of a company with encouragement for posters. :)

          Oh ok. Thanks for the warning!! That's probably why no one posted the deal. Lol. Looks like a lot of people on Ozbargain have been burned by the last Snowgum online deal. Sorry to hear that.

      Made an order of $21.15 total using the $20 voucher posted last time so the total came to $1.15.
      Checked my credit card statement and they charged the full $21.15 without any notification. When I lodged a complaint, they said the voucher was not accepted as it had been posted online forum (i.e. OzBargain). Fair enough I get that. But I received no notification of the voucher cancellation and instead they charged the full amount. The only way they'd give me a refund would be for me to send the product back to their Victoria office when I actually received this product from their Fortitude Valley, QLD branch (I'm based in Brisbane).
      Never again am I dealing with Snowgum

    Hmm.. got the email but I can't be bothered with off line sales.. anyway.. it reminded me about the last deal they had and I was just reviewing my emails and it appears they didn't factor in the coupon.. no items recieved and no email telling me it was cancelled.

    with the prices well above $200, after discounted it still almost $100. better to check zavvi or the hut imo

    I never received my item from the $20 off voucher.

    I didn't bother chasing as it was free…but I certainly would not want to deal with this company again if I have alternatives.

    Yeh I'd avoid snowgum. Sure we got a $20 voucher for free but that's just like a free trial. After a month they emailed me and said the bottle i ordered was sold out and sent me a cheap plastic one that probably cost them $1

    Mountaindesigns just as bad, ordered on their online sale posted here, one jacket came in at the wrong colour as the web, had to go through a big song and dance to get a refund from a store. They offered store credit first. Then the second jacket, the one I kept, still has the security tag attached to an inner pocket! I just wear it anyway, but still.

    Stuff Australian retailers.

    Not only did they not honour an order, I can't even log in to the website for that previous order. it says "Sorry, that email/password combination could not be found" Dodgy snowbums. they got on the wrong side of ozbargainers, not a good idea

    NoScum Deals for me! No email telling me the previous order was canceled. Never dealing with them again. In todays day and age companies should be very careful when dealing with Social media groups / forums like Ozbargain etc.
