    • Bought.. curse you! haha

      • oh really but it looks so dangerous if you have a full cat.

        • +3

          Maximum weight allowance of 20kg

could even fit a baby :P

        • Might be ok if they walk from a bookshelf on to it but if they jump on to it they'd briefly be applying more weight then they're standing weight.

    • +4

suction-cup mounted? will probably come off it you put a cat on it

    • +3

      Don't worry…. cats have 9 lives.

      • well you see thats completely fine they're following proper safety precautions.

    Is the star master okay?

    • +3

i wouldnt get it, i got it at the last sale, and the lights broke within 10mins of use -.- was very disapointed

      • thanks mate!

    • +2

"For ages 17 years and up":-)

The Star Master projector sounds much more dangerous:

"When you press the star switch, you will see the universe"

    There are some nice deals.

    Such as?

  • 2x Bobble Bottles is good value for those that use them. A replacement filter is more than $6 anyway, so getting two for $5.98 is good IMO.

    http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/20310/product/2-x-bobb…

    • I wasn't going to buy it (unlike the 30 piece emergency kit above I would've snapped up) just letting everybody know the bottles are sold out.

  • i kinda like the clock but dunno how safe it would be (would the robbers steal the clock lol)

  • some great deals. like portable vacuum cleaner and musashi snack bar. thanks for the bargain

    • sock puppet?

  • +10

    it's all junk

    • +6

The water bottles are like $10 each when doing a google search
The knife sharpener is $32 on Kitchen shopping sites and $15 on amazon with excellent reviews

so not all junk , maybe to you though but not to other people

  • +2

Picked up the furi knife sharpener (was hoping they'd sell it for cheap again!) and the anti-burst exercise set. Always could use a good ball for sitting on. Thanks for posting!

    • why is it called 'Ozitech' but CotD calls it 'Oztitech' everywhere. Fake? Too many occurrences for it to be a typo. The real thing looks pretty good though

      • I actually didn't notice that until you pointed it out.

I'm hoping it doesn't completely wreck my knives. There's at least one positive review from a previous buyer (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/97820).

      • not fake, look at the pics , Ozitech is engraved on the plastic in the pics

Because using your thumb to close the jaws of a shifter/wrench on a nut is too difficult.

  • The only time COTD has good deals is that once a month or so every hour deal thingo they have but that's a complete waste of time since they have VERY limited stock and the site crashes everytime you try to refresh.

    • I have got so many good deals through them. They used to be way better before, but still they have good deals every now and then.

12 Artline whiteboard markers for $6 = 50c each is okay for the kids.
Retractable so no lids to loose.

    http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/20310/product/12-x-art…

  • they also have seemed to improved there shipping which was the main issue.

I got the 12V Vacuum Cleaner.

    The Vacuum cleaner also inflates!
I have been looking for a 12V (cigarette lighter power socket) air mattress inflater for camping.

You wont find anything under 20 bucks which is car powered.

So if it sucks ;) as a vacuum I have a great other use for it :)

"It comes with a long 3 metre power cord and a carpet tool and crevice tool as well as an inflating adaptor so you can inflate beach balls, air mattresses, rafts or anything! It’s the lightweight versatile must have for any car or boat!"

    Features:
    12V Wet-Dry Vacuum Cleaner
    Perfect for cars or boats
Plugs into your vehicle’s 12V power socket
Wet and dry – sucks up dirt and spills
102cm flexible hose and 3mt power cord
No bag required – simply empty canister
Carpet tool, crevice tool, inflating attachment
    Lightweight design

    http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/20310/product/12v-wet-…

    • The Vacuum cleaner also inflates!

Don't get too excited. Those 12V inflation pumps generally use way more power than the "dust-buster" vacs.
You might be waiting around a long time to inflate your mattress, and wished you had used a cheap foot-pump instead.

      • +1

Set and walk away, right? :)

So over using a foot pump/hand pump

        First world problems..

  • The weight loss pills looked alright, grabbed two packs for $14 delivered. Not bad!

  • Just a heads up - there appears to be some new things added to the list since I last looked.

This backpack is available for $7 including delivery in both red and blue.

How can they call Lego Series 7 Minifigs a bargain at $6.99, when RRP is $4.99?

  • Never bother visiting catch of the day on a mobile because their mobile site is terribly slow.
