          They Probably work for the marketing/Ad agency whom has the local Sony account.
          Same thing happens when you post OralB toothbrush heads "they're grey imports, they're not the same quality…blah blah blah"

          Another company defending the local exhortation pricing for the same product.

        I bought a grey import DSLR, the lens does not focus, they pick it up and resend it to me with in 1 week, service even better than most local store. and $300 cheaper.

      to be fair - it is around 1500 most other places - so about 7% off! but for 2 hours only!

      The Chapel St store will be an ongoing Outlet store. The sale night is to launch the store with many deals exclusive for the night only. We are getting a new range of surround sound with wireless rear speakers later in the year however Sony Australia have not confirmed the models with us as yet. Chapel will have the entire current range of HT on sale tomorrow night though

    Do you think they'll be honest with you about how much it actually cost them? I went to a sale at this very Sony Center store a year ago when they were claiming just this, and their price (with $1 margin) was more expensive than I could get it delivered by Big Brown Box.

    They're not going to show you their invoices. If you tell them it was cheaper somewhere else, they'll make up an excuse like those guys are losing money, or you're getting returned goods, not brand new. Or they might just say they bought this stock a few months ago at a higher price than it is now.

      90 bux more for a brand new one… not too bad i guess about 25% off… the ex demo prices seem OK but your new lenses "sale" are going to struggle to be compete with other shops standard prices…
