MyFun, $69.95 Adults, $49.95 Kids, UNLIMITED Entry to All Three Parks, W&W, MovieWorld, SeaWorld

STUPIDLY good deal if you like themeparks, while not as good as a 12 month pass, still damn good value (if you aren't a fan of their overpriced themepark 'fare' or souvenirs)!

$69.95 Adults, $49.95 Kids, UNLIMITED entry to all three parks, W&W, movieworld, seaworld until 30th June, 2009!

I was issued this 'deal' as a member of myfun, I can't imagine Ozbargainers NOT being a member, but, maybe you can still receive it if you join. I'm not one who'll post deals from the themeparks often, but hey. Go to all three, all three are different so you won't get bored. Then do them all again in a couple of months or so. I think that'd make it reasonably good value. Though if you go every weekend to a different park that's another story!

This deal is better value the more you use it.

This is a great deal but I need to get around this Queensland resident business?
Does anyone know what sort of identification is required when going to the park for the first time? Will they accept a utility bill or do you need to show something like a drivers licence?

"You must be a Queensland resident and you must join MyFun to get this great deal. Proof of residency must be shown on first visit."

  • Queensland Residents only and they will ask for photo ID on first visit and take a photo of you, for the pass. Drats! I got all excited for a split second:(

  • WOW…Me and the family flew to the Gold Coast just last month(From Melb), we had to fork out over $500 just to get 4 Adults & 1 Child to Movie World and Seaworld- Three day passes to only the two parks iirc. Didn't really even enjoy much of the time there because the queues to the rides were so long :(

PS. How often does everyone visit these places?. Wouldn't these places be the sort of things that you go once just to say "YAY! i've been to Movie World/Sea World/ Wet n' Wild etc.." or go to show the kids and overseas visitors some of Oz.

We go to these parks heaps when we're up there. It's the main reason we go with two little kids.

I'm up there again with the family at the end of Feb for a couple of weeks. Our little ones are not in high school yet so we take time off school to miss the queues. Went in August last year - even though it was winter it never rained, was mostly around low 20s and we virtually walked onto every ride in the park without a single queue. We know of some people that go to the water parks in winter - the water is heated but they wear wet suits so they don't get too chilly when going from slide to slide.

      • aw that would be so fun!!!!!

Trust me when I say that people who live in Queensland take the Gold Coast theme parks for granted.

  • sorry for duplicate post bendertiger
