I received this email today.
The Mitre 10 store in the Homeworld center at Helensvale is having 21.5% off store wide for this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are a few exclusions listed in the attached picture.
Please note, there is a free joke attached to the bottom of the advert. So even those not living on the Gold coast get something out of this deal.

    I wonder if this is a precursor to a closing down sale. Another Mitre 10 getting shafted by a Bunnings opening within 500 metres. It's a shame as I find they have better and more knowledgable service then the big guys.

      You cant blame the Bunnings store for the closure of others around it. These stores sit back and expect customers to keep buying. You need to adapt to the market change, add in new lines, offer the same service but different, there is plenty of options, but they choose to take the easy way out.
