Seems Origin have upped the game and now have a 16c FIT(QLD) capped to the first 14kWh. Wondering if it's available uncapped? Trying to get…
It will appear as a credit on the bill and just increase your balance, should be all good.
If you export a fair amount, the 12c uncapped plan is about the best around at the moment, much better than the others 10c with at cap.
Ask them if you are talking to the retentions team, seems the retentions number sometimes gets answered by the normal sales guys who can't…
It does seem a bit random as to who gets offered more than 12c maybe they have limits on the number of higher fits they can offer?
Retentions, they see to be the team that can offer better than the website.
Yep they wouldn't give me any good deals last year when I was a customer(contract ended), so I left for 12 months, now they give me a good…
Last month, even at 12c uncapped with no demand charges it's probably the best deal around!
Ok that's strange, I got offered 20c as a returning customer, is your total inverter capacity larger than 10kW?
Does your account number start with 400?
That is the old system I believe, where they can offer better deals. If you are not currently a customer they seem to offer a bigger FIT
Starts with 400 which is still in the old system I believe.
The rates for SE QLD are the reference price: General usage rates 25.817 cents/kW Demand (c/kW/day) NO DEMAND CHARGES! Daily supply charge…
They can do much better than 12c, 17c and 20c are possible but it depends on: If your NMI has been migrated to their new system How big…

It seems there are changes a foot at Origin, they are migrating the National Meter Identifiers or NMI to a new system. If your NMI has been…
No it uses 12kW of power, I have monitoring on the mains. Essentially it is two ducted system (one upper, and one lower that work together…
Sounds promising did you need an ABN? What size is your solar system? I wonder if this is related to you not having a smart meter so they…
I'm over the AGL demand charge, it really dictates when I can use my ducted AC(uses 12kW of power), which means I basically can't use use…
Mine was received on the day when the account was transferred to AGL and they became my retailer.
It was included in my first month bill. It was billed for the number of days in that first calendar month, with the rest being in the next…
Yes I use PVOutput, There is nothing that will automatically calculate it yet that I can see. You could look at just adding your daily…
Yep same here no contact from the Origin retentions team when I moved to AGL, I think they know their offer is not competitive with AGL. I…
They should be able to submit a metering request to have your meter changed to TOU.
Not at this stage origin plans are single rate without demand, they are not passing on the demand charge, I guess essentially subsidising…
Yep I moved to AGL in November, did they put you on a demand plan? (if you have a smart meter) Origin I think are trying to balance the…
Let us know how you go, I tried about 10 times, kept getting the same answer: 12c FIT with CAP, no other options available.
Origin are not yet passing demand on to the customer, instead the FIT is low or capped, I guess they have run the numbers.
They were posted above, if you have a smart meter they will put you on the demand plan read my posts above if you don't know about it. AGL…
Yep, transfer completed, so long origin and thanks for all the FIT. Even the retentions team is beaten down, they admit their offering…
Yes they were supposed to be put me on something like that, they mentioned 13 or 14c when I phoned up before my contract ended, they told…
