Great price for a very decent camera. Much better than the 1100D that has been posted a few times, it's closer to the level of the 550D and on some specifications better.

Don't know much about expensive cameras but stumbled across this and seems like a good price. Cheapest on Shopbot is $582 incl. shipping, Amazon sells it for $560.59USD pre-shipping.
