  • What, no Sonic the Hedgehog?

Wasn't very popular 3 weeks ago for less (currently $37 delivered at esold).

Normal price is $37 delivered from ozgameshop (but currently out of stock).

    shrug

I love the way OzBargainers downvote people for providing useful information. Good ole OzBargain.

  • does this drain battery as much as the game gear when it first came out?

do i seriously have to enter my email to access this site?

obviously im not entering a real one, but any site that requires me to step through hoops just to buy something from them just make me shake my head…

    Mega drives had 3 buttons.

    • and blast processing

    • and if i remember correctly cost over $300 that my parents were reluctant to cough up. lucky the NES just kept on going.

I think the description is wrong. Amazon only mentions master system and game gear emu.

    • Yep mega drive 1 had 3 and mega drive 2 had 6 buttons. Don't think there was a single game that used all 6 but anyway can anyone confirm if this has an sd slot to load roms etc?

      • Did Street Fighter 2 use 6 buttons?

        • It did.

    • I have this and it is not the version with the SD slot, I have one of those SD slot ones and got it from Super UFO about 5 years ago I rekon, it plays Megadrive games. This is Game gear games only. Really not worth it unless you want the specific hardware. If you are lucky might find one for around $10 on clearance at a Kmart.

  • I actually had a Game Gear. The one in photo looks different.

    • It's not a Game Gear(TM). It's a Blaze Gear.

    • Those things were massive.. laughable now.

  • sold out?

  • Sold out.

  • R3volt is right, the description is wrong— this system doesn't support Mega Drive games (although the same company makes a Mega Drive equivilent). Those that recall the Mega Drive having 3 buttons are correct- althought the type with 6 buttons (three being turbo) were common, I have very clear memories of playing one of these at a freinds place and him kickick my butt in Pit Fighter because he kept using the turbo buttons which my controler didn't have, jerk.

  • Darn, sold out, i wanted to know if it could take the cartridges & TV card & radio card & all that stuff … as a kid, I always wanted one for the TV aspects of it …

  • Anyone who wants one, they're $2 more at esold: http://www.esold.com.au/blaze-gear-handheld-includes-30-clas…

  • I am sure I saw this @ Big W yesterday for ??$25.00, not sure what was in the box.
