As someone who didn't enjoy Ragnarok everything else there is still top tier.

Ooooof. I bought GOWR and GT7 on sale from Big W while waiting for someone to stock a disc drive for my Pro, and now this…. Wonder if I've still got the receipt. It certainly hasn't been 90 days.
SD Gundam is a great time though, and I've been resisting buying that for PS5 since I got rid of Gamepass.

Already finished that before trading in the 5 for the 5 pro. It'll be quite some time away from being free I'd say. It's won so many GOTYs (deservedly) that they really shouldn't be giving it away. While I don't know exactly how the commerce works in this situation the TeamAsobi devs deserve the best possible financial return for that particular product.

Same and this was the first time I've actually bought a game for PS5 (alo bought GT7 and Stellar Blade) since buying the console at launch LOL
No regrets though. Still wouldn't sign up to PSN at that cost. Had it for 2 years and barely used it.
Hooray! I've been holding out on buying GOWR and Robocop, thinking both would eventually come to PSPlus (or Humble Monthly, which I would sub for a month of to grab it).
One down! Shame that like HZD2, it will probably leave the service after 6-12 months, but I never replayed the first GOW (or rather, the last one, on PS4), so this would probably be a one and done play anyway, making it perfect for these services.

Nah sorry - the Extra games are only accessible while you have an Extra subscription. If you are a month to month sub, you could upgrade for a month. If you are a yearly sub, you would have to upgrade your plan for the rest of subscription (I think) - which might not be as much extra as you think. If you are keen to GoW, and can find 2-3 other games on the service you would be keen to get into, I think it would be worth the upgrade.

They will be there permanently, but you will need an active PS Plus subscription to play them.
No this will only allow you to play it while it exists on extra. The moment they remove it from the catalog you can't play it.
This is not ps plus essential where you keep the games as long as you have a subscription

It will be available while you keep paying for subscription and while they have it on the catalog. The moment they take it off the catalog. You have to buy it to play it.
