I am putting together a new I7 3770 build and noticed memory prices seem to have gone up in the last few weeks here in Australia..
Amazon UK has some good deals on DDR3 RAM
The one that stood out to me was Kingston Hyper X Black - 2 x 8gb
It is CL10 RAM. Model number KHX16C10B1BK2/16
According to Kingston's web site, Black modules are better than Blu. They are certainly more expensive here in Australia… Not sure you'll notice much of a difference though unless you are overclocking…
Lifetime warranty from Kingston.
If you buy one pair of modules it is around $100 AUD delivered (68.54 GBP)
If you add additional pairs the increase in postage costs is minimal so the cost of each pair of RAM falls.
Eg. 2 x 16gb packs (2x8gb) is around $185 delivered (126.09 GBP)
Cheapest on staticice is $135 + postage…

They are also selling the Intel XMP profile modules for the same price (ref link)…

I have heard that i7 only supports up to 1333MHz. So what good is 1600MHz? I also have 1600MHz, just because I didn't know any better.
