I have been hunting for a Latex pillow top mattress (1st bed) for my 3yo daughter. As you all know, there are hundreds of bedding 'cowboys' out there - multi-named products, overpriced mattresses….the list goes on.

I have found a seemingly good quality 'latex topped' mattress from www.bedsonline.com.au - They currently have free delivery to MELB-SYD-BRIS.

        I was lucky and got a factory 2nd posturepedic with edge guard, king size, mattress and base for under $1,000 delivered, from Forty Winks. (I didn't post it on OzBargain as the quantity remaining looked too low)

        It was a factory 2nd because, the company had run out of the blue material they used to make the mattresses before they ran out of other materials. So they finished off the last couple in some of their white material.

        Apart from the colour, it was the same though and it's a beautiful bed :)

        I never would've thought I'd end up buying the bed from Forty Winks and I never thought it would've been cheaper than getting a double :P

  I just bought a Sealy queen mattress from HN, 2 weeks ago for $499, every shop seems to be having a bedding sale, this is no deal as "Domino" is not a very well known brand I think

    The "sales" you speak of are a load of crap . For Sealy etc start negotiations at %50 off RRP and never pay more than %40 off whether it's on sale or not . I don't know what the mark ups on beds must be ridiculous . Checked some of the other prices for sealy etc on this site and the prices are easily beaten in bricks and mortar stores .

    im sorry, but how is this mattress better than the one i mentioned? The Domino is just as 'unknown', the company offers free delivery and 60 day returns for free + the Domino comes in single/king single whereas the papadrake does not.

      Otherwise a decent price for Domino bed.
      Domino is made by AH Beard who make King Koil. They're alright beds from what I've heard

  hmm i was reading something(in the same boat with a two year old) but they where saying Latex where no good for little kids as they grow so much, but that may have been full latex not latex tops…?
