  This is a good price. I recently got one myself for $90 from my local PC shop. Be aware that there are two versions of this drive; a 2-platter fast version and a 3-platter not so fast one. You won't know which you are getting ordering online.

  I got the faster version and it seems great; very fast and very quiet.

    Wouldn't worry too much about that 2 or 3 platter theory.

    In practice these drives all perform very similar.
    Benchmarking them, smaller files are almost identical.
    Max sequential they do (slower drive 160mb, faster drive 180mb)
