    Yeah I did double check… and was slightly surprised it wasn't up already.

    On a side note am also surprised that Amazon haven't been forced by publishers to be more restrictive on selling to other countries… I guess they are big enough to tell them where to go…

    Either way will make the most of it now.

        Weird though looking at the google cache version it has some pretty convoluted instructions on buying DLs from Amazon, all you need is a valid US address against your account (I use the Las Vegas Hilton)

  If I was to create a new Amazon account with US address (Thinking the Las Vegas Hilton sounds like a great idea. The Penthouse perhaps?), would my Australian Steam account effect my ability to download (I gather I'm buying an activation code for Steam, but Steam knows I'm in Australia).

    When you purchase from Amazon you just get a code, you then use this code to 'activate the game' on steam and download from there as you normally would a steam game.

    I have done this many many times and never had any problems.
