$30 on Epic (but was free once as OP mentioned)
    $14.39 on GOG
    $9.58 on Steam

    For the base game.

Steam doesn’t let you add the DLC unless you own the base game. Not sure about the others.

        Same for GOG

Gift the DLC to yourself so you have it if they make the base game freebie again or it goes on sale really cheap.

            @MorriJ: good trick

          • +1

@MorriJ: Does gifting DLC to oneself work on Steam? I can’t seem to be able to gift this bundle to myself and I don’t have the base game.

          • @MorriJ: You legend. Hopefully it will go on sale/go freebie before 2200 :)

@MorriJ: edit: I got it. So while we can't redeem it now, we can keep the code to redeem later since it won't expire until 1/1/2200. Thanks for the trick

I got this message trying to redeem (gift it to myself)

This is additional content, not a standalone product. You need to own Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition to redeem this product. It will not be added to your account.

            Anyone successfully did it?

            • @bheart: Are you really planning on buying this game via GOG in the future? I'm sure whatever ultimate edition of the game will get this content added anyway.

              • @Agret: I already got the base game on epic. just tried claiming on gog to use this trick in the future if needed

          • @MorriJ: Neat trick, thanks!
I figured out how to do it on gog. How do I do it on steam?

          • @MorriJ: Thanks

we should have dying light in our games of shame list, ive confirmed i have it on Epic games and its a game i didnt purchase.

    • Yep, me too. Thanks Op!

Buy on Steam, add the DLC, then ask for refund.
Do not quote me on this, not sure if this works or not

  • +3

If you don't currently have it on gog but might buy it in the future you can gift yourself it and you get a code that doesn't expire. Also adds it to your account

If you're firing up the shame wagon to grab new DLC for the free game you'll never play, you might as well fill it with the old DLC while you're there (all links are for Epic Games):

Dying Light - Unturned Weapon Pack

Dying Light - Left 4 Dead 2 Weapon Pack

Dying Light - L4D2 Bill & Gnome Chompski Pack

Dying Light - Chivalry Weapon Pack

Dying Light - Rust Weapon Pack

Dying Light - Ox Warrior Bundle
