    Canvas only or framed?

I only buy from this site when they have specials because their shipping prices are insane. Easily the Most expensive ive seen for a hk retailer.

totally agree that their shipping is overly priced. it should be stretched and framed.

Same here. Fortunately they have specials on a regular basis. Have a number of these stretched canvas jobs - look really good, and don't have to frame them of course as they just go straight onto the wall. Only hint I'd make is to increase the brightness a little on the images before uploading as they can tend to be a bit dark compared to what you would see on a laptop/pc monitor. Oh, and make sure you make the image go over the sides.

Bekind - Seem to be framed products (ready to hang) as performed by their "trained professional staff".

As PlasticSpaceman mentioned, you must fill the bleed area if you want to avoid a white strip appearing on your canvas border. Pretty much common knowledge for anyone who's done any sort of digital print other than standard 4x6's.

    • how do you fill the bleed area ? i am assuming a little of the original pic will be covered over the bleed area.

When you upload the photo, the tool will show the white area (the front) and a grey surround (which is folded over the frame). Just resize the photo to cover everything. The only issue is when you have a DSLR and properly composed the photo in the first place, you may end up with a part of a head (for example) wrapped over the frame that is just wrong…. In those cases I've made the canvas background a neutral colour (eg grey) and then the blank area is grey and it doesn't look too bad…..

  • I have used ArtsCow before, really happy with the quality but the freight time is bad.

  • Thanks OP just ordered 2.

I think that was a good deal. Beats BigW/Kmart
