This is the best price I've seen for a HD Hero 3 Black in Australia. The fact that it's an eBay "group deal" makes me think it's legit, so if you're looking for one, this is a great deal!

It clearly says white edition, in your link and in the listing…
Be aware that the Hero3's have 3 different specs of Cams, White, Silver and black. (In order of less specs to more ie, consumer, 'pro-sumer', professional.)
The pricing reflects accordingly as well as the items it comes with.
It's not like older gopros where it's the same camera just different accessory upgrades… It's a mistake most people who don't follow action cameras make.

Another thing to consider, looking at use reviews, is that it seems QC isn't so great on them. If you look at the user reviews on B&H: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/895414-REG/GoPro_HERO3…
You'll see many happy reviewers, and quite a few that seemed to get complete dogs. So, even if the Go Pro is the right camera for you, may be worth the extra bucks to get it from a local retailer with full australian warranty.
In the Ars article there is an update stating that it wasn't the content of the review it where the pictures within the review. Were they just reacting to how quickly the DMCA takedown exploded, who knows. I'm giving them the benefit of doubt. Why?
Because I was able to read the article when all this started to happen. The problem I had with everyone saying "GoPro are taking the review down that they didn't like" was the review ended with the Black edition being the choice of purchase of the reviewer. It did state the AS15 was better in areas, but I'm fairly sure most reviews would also say there are good things about the AS15.
