    It's also $199 at Peter's of Kensington
These crockery and cutlery "savings" are bullshit.

Got my current set from Harris Scarfe on special for $55 has around 100 pieces in it.

    • is it Oneida (or comparable brand) though? (has to be fair comparison)

      • Smith + Nobel similar to this in design http://www.harrisscarfe.com.au/store/all-deals/dining/cutler… it's an exclusive to HS so not really sure how they compare, does the job though, good finish simple design.
I think the box price was around $360 retailing for $199 marked down to $55 that day next week they were back up to $199.

Personally I've never liked the chunky looking handles like on these Cirrus.

I'm not negging the deal just commenting that it's not very good value.

    • I also got an almost identical Oneida set from Harris Scarfe for about $70 last year… they often have Oneida at about 50-80% off. I wouldn't class this as a deal if you have access to HS

  • This Oneida stuff is always at Harris Scarfe for well under 100 bucks, as well as Stanley Rogers. It's ok cutlery, but it's not a deal at near 200 clams.

EDIT: It does actually seem that the normal price for this one is a bit higher than the regular Oneida stuff. Removed earlier neg - apologies.
