    "Support Memory Card: SD/SDHC/MMC"

    How big? 16gb?

    • hi, it supports up tp 32gb after testing. If the card's format is right, there is no limit to the support of the memory card.

  • +2

what size HDD can it support up to?

    • Hi, there is no limite to HDD.

  • "Hi, dear members," nice :)

  • On amazon.com for just $107.75 exc delivery…. WTF, this is a bit cheaper. And can it be worth the amazon price? No reviews from buyers.

    http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-1080P-Center-Player-Entertainmen…

It is worth buying it just because of how cheap this is. Or is it? Thinking of using this while we travel overseas to play back mkv tv series from a 64GB thumb drive (If it will run it), playing back over the hotel TV using composite inputs.

Will you supply US to Aus conversion adaptor with deal? And is the charger compatible with 110volt to 250v to cover all countries, or is it limited to USA voltage of 110volt 60hz? If so, there will be people in Oz blowing this one up when they plug it in.

    • HI, it is US conversion adaptor.
      Input:110-240V
      Output: 5V 2000MA

  • Just bought one - will post up a review on their site when I try it out. For $28 it was worth a gamble (for me). Thanks OP

  • Main question here is: will it play from HDD and from USB stick? If yes, what's the max. size for the devices it will play from?

    • It plays from HDD and USB stick.
No limitation to the storage of the divice.

      • Even up to 4tb via USB host? I have a 1080p media that plays all sort of video files but only plays ext hard disk up to 2tb, failed to recognize my 3 and 4tb. So if k5 mini media player does the same thing then i don't need another one so REP can you please confirm? Thanks

        • Hi, sorry to reply you late. We have three days off for Tomb Sweeping Day.

If the format is right(NTFS), there is no limitation to the storage.

        • though a bit late and i have missed out on the deal but still appreciated for getting back to me about it, well for future ref maybe.

  • Just locked one in as well, not much money to risk, and found this info/review from someone who has purchased one of these, though it may be an older firmware version:

Pros: - Seems to be a (perfect) clone of the "Diyomate K5."
    - Works as advertised.
    - Plays ALL movie formats listed, and some variants that aren't listed.
    - Size is "Ultra-mini" as advertised, which is about the size of a Credit Card and thick as toast.
    - All remote button functions work except for a few (Listed in Cons).
    - Simple navigational menu.
    - Remote Controls IR Sender, and Media Player IR Receiver works like CRAZY. I can ress a button from the opposite side of my house to the other and it still detects, even pointing it up at the ceiling and not at the device works.

Cons: - Remote Control "Useless" Buttons: Folder, Copy/Del. (Not really a Con but just a note).
    - I had to use a Universal Power Adapter as this one uses a US Plug an I reside in Australia. (Not really a Con again, as everyone should have these Adapters lying around anyway).
    - Subtitles can't be configured… (this time it is a con) but this is "livewithable" as it reads the font configurations from the .srt/.sub/etc file which CAN be configured using a Texteditor.

  • Where do you input the code. I reached paypal and nothing had happened.

  • Near the end when prompt the confirm payment, it has a place for you to enter the code. Just try. I did that.

can someone please advise me what can i use this for ? what exactly is this

It's a media player. For playing media. You know, music, movies, etc. Sheesh.

  • tried (4x) to order 20 mins ago (hate my internet connection always down at crucial time ) but when entered code at end of tmart ordering page (before got directed to paypal) received code expired, am i too late?

  • FYI, if you were not sure what leftdrop meant in the reply to if an australian conversion adaptor was included, here is the email reply from Tmart after my purchase (And it is much clearer):
    Dear Customer,
Thanks for your email; it is our honor to help you.
Sorry,we check your item not include the Australian adaptor that you want.
We suggest you can buy the adaptor from your local store .
    Hope you can understand.

  • Has anyone got one of these yet.

    • not yet but seller has put standard pricing at $30.95 so it seems we have been mislead about the $10 discount

  • Hi,

Has anyone who bought one of these received theirs yet? I'm still waiting on mine…

    • -2

Hi, it usually take about 30 days.
      So don't worry, just wait.

  • I asked the same question and no answer. Some things from China take a while.

  • +1

Well it came today. Pretty much as described.

    • Still waiting on mine :(

But happy to hear it's as described.

Mine arrived today, tested using HDMI connected to a 1080P screen, used a usb 2.0 WD 750 portable hard drive (Powered from USB and formatted in NTFS), the device plays standard AVI files with stereo and 5.1 mixes fine, also worked well with MKV files having stereo and 5.1 mixes, what did surprise me was that it handled an MKV 1080P file that was 9GB in size with DTS 1500k audio on 5.1, and played it pretty well. There was a little stutter now and again on play back with such a large file, but hardly noticeable. The device powered my portable USB drive well, and even though I am used to using a DUNE HD 3.0 media player (Lots more money), this worked so well. After one hour of running it was lukewarm, same with the power supply (USA plug, with USA - Aus adaptor)
This will be great for travelling in USA and Europe ands playing back small mkv files through the hotel flat screens in our rooms.
Massive box with very little in when it arrives. Remote is very good over long distance too.

Thanks heaps, aI am really happy with this purchase.

Also tested using a 64GB USB3.0 thumb drive, with NTFS (Master Brand, ordered from one of the sellers on OzB). Worked a charm, also worked from a 32GB USB3.0 thumb drive with FAT32, no problems. Lots of options for output to set 50 and 60HZ from 1080P down (Inlcuding interlace for each option instead of progressive, not that you would want to do that). can run it from the buttons on the device itself without the remote.

      • Cheers for the update!

  • Still waiting too. Spoke to them via chat said I should have it in a week.

  • Still waiting here also, mine must be on the slow boat…

    • still waiting aswell it better arrive soon

  • arrived yesterday. Works fine - in all aspects but for Dolby TrueHD.
Will use it as a secondary to the Popcorn Hour A300.
    Its a beauty!

  • Found the audio doesn't work through my pioneer receiver. Fine via hdmi to the TV. No idea why. Every other device I own works. Any ideas?

    • Hi, poineer receiver, do you mean network?
      It doesn't support network.

      • a pioneer receiver is a surround sound audio amplifier

        • @David, Thanks.
@Bargain_potato, try to connect a speaker to the pioneer receiver.

        • thanks David Hasslehoff (didn't think i would be writing that today haha). Correct, It doesn't seem compatible with my surround sound system even though it works with every other device i have tried. Strange, but I guess I'll live with it.

Connect a speaker? i have 5.1 surround working through the amp, that isn't the issue.
