Get one if you want, but personally would spend the money on a bottle of wine. Check here (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/97850) for discussion about these things.

Can buy an aerator on ebay for $1.10 delivered which isn't exactly the same as this one. For the same as this they are $8.99 delivered

so your product is not shipped from china? i believe it is made in china as well :) how they arrive to australia if they are not shipped from china?

        • Hi, we purchase in bulk and pay for premium shipping with trusted providers. And yes, we too have had shipments go missing in the past when not taking proper precautions.

        • +2

          $24.10 from you, vs $8.99 direct…

that's a 168% mark-up on the off chance that it might not "arrive in a timely manner"…

I'm happy to age my wine for an extra week and save 168%….

mate, you should read my question carefully, I was asking did your item was shipped from china as well or not? i mean, is it made in china? or made in somewhere in Europe? simple question and simple answer

Because there is good and bad deals and utter crap deals. Try and guess which one this falls into.

I take it your not a wine drinker :)

        • +4

          You're.

I take it i got one of these delivered off eBay for 99cents. I'll admit the one i got is a cheap plastic piece of crap made in China… oh wait… so is yours.

You're missing the point of ozbargain, it's not here for your free advertising, it is here to assist people in finding the best value deals.
And lets face it your deal isn't the best value there are much better value deals available on aerators in Australia.

        • a wine snob would've own his own quality decanter anyway… just saying.

        • +1

A wine snob wouldn't be bothered by letting a wine breathe for 20 minutes.

A much better buy over one of these is a vacuum pump so that once the wine has been left to breath it doesn't oxidise.

A much better buy over one of these is a vacuum pump

I you like your wine, you'll have no use for a vacuum pump…

        • A vacuum pump doesn't just have to be for storing the wine for another day, wine improves after a small amount of aeration but will oxidise and deteriorate from being left open.

So open your wine, leave it for 20 minutes, pour a glass then use a vacuum pump. Good wine shouldn't be guzzled.
