  What do people think of the Giottos tripod and head? Best for around the price, or could spend less and get the same quality?

    It's okay, but not great. Pretty weak, but it would be fine if you have a mirrorless or an entry level body/lens combo that wont overload it.

    To be honest, for that price I would be looking for a used Manfrotto 190x series on ebay. Or maybe a Benro, if you don't mind cheap Chinese junk. Anything you get for a hundred bucks will just end up getting replaced.

    And for less than that one? Forget it.

  Can't find much about that particular model of 58mm CPL online.. slim-fit is good I know, but concerned it is multi coated..

  Planning on using it on my Panasonic 12-35 / Olympus OMD.

  What filters actually come in the Hoya 77mm kit? For instance, with the UV filter, I take it that it will be inferior to the standard Hoya HMC?

    Hi there,

    They are entry level filters, they don't have the HMC on them. Ideal for kit lenses or if you just want to have a play with filters before buying more expensive one.
