Memory Foam Pillow $6.00 @ Harris Scarfe, Rundle Place (Adelaide)

80

Hi guys,

Was checking out the recently opened Rundle Place, and found this bargain: some nice (and cheap) memory foam pillows! They're from their Harris Scarfe Essentials range, which is normally a fairly priced $15. They're currently on sale for a paltry $6.00 though! Please check your local store as their site still has them listed at $15, and this may be Adelaide only, to celebrate the mall opening. I'll update the deal if need be.

Similar branded pillows are far more expensive. Always been curious to see whether these are as comfy as a lot of people profess. Might as well try at this price - a price which flat, lumpy el cheapo pillows are normally relegated.

Got some other things on the receipt people may be interested in. The base price seem a bit inflated but the current sales price is good:

D'Decor 310 Thread Count Bed Sheet Set: $19.95. RRP $149.95
Smith + Nobel 300gsm Microfibre Quilt: $19.95. RRP $129.90
Cibo Coloured Acrylic 6pc Knifeblock $29.95. RRP $99.95

wow I paid $100 for my dunlopillow :P

at first I was like "stuff this ima not spending $100 bux on a pillow!"

but now, I don't think I can sleep without it lol!

it really does feel like you're sleeping on a cloud!

    • I paid a bit less, ~$75 delivered (plus two free pillows) on a Tontine January 50% off sale.
I agree that the Dunlopillo is something I appreciate every night!

You can't go wrong for $6, but try the dunlopillo at a shop… it's great. There's another Tontine 50% off sale on now… also posted on OzBargain.

    • I have to agree with neosin.
Yesterday I received the Memory Foam Dunlopillo Pillows I ordered from Peters of Kensington for $59 each
      http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/97717

I had a wet dream sleeping on it!

Having said that, this is still a great deal & you will notice the difference if changing from polyester filled pillows.

  • The $6 pillow is surprisingly good for the price BUT… when you compare them to others, it feels really bad. But still, it's $6.

  • All the comments about Dunlopillo. Are you talking about their latex ones or the memory foam ones?

I compared in the store and the memory foam seems mushy whilst the latex is bouncy. Also online reviews rate the latex highly while u think the memory foam was around 2.5 out of 5

  • i'd rather pay a little more and get the duck feather pillow from aldi

  • "D'Decor 310 Thread Count Bed Sheet Set: $19.95. RRP $149.95"

Have you purchased any at that price ?
They've scanned it for me this morning, ~$80, i.e. 40% off as advertised on their signs.

  • It is on the receipt the OP has provided

  • Thanks. I can see it now. Too late though.
