    "This pillow's RRP is $169.95"

Aw, come on- how much do you reckon this stuff costs to make?

  • Apparently this deal stinks:

    http://www.productreview.com.au/p/dunlopillo-therapillo.html

People saying they paid over $100 though, so sounds like a decent price.

    • is latex ffs what those people are expecting? seems like the same group who complains latex condoms stink too.

    • This is the cooling gel version also, so costs a bit more…. I remember seeing this pillow for around $150 when I picked up my latex pillow… Was very tempted to buy it, but just couldn't justify spending the extra….

  • I had a look on the net, and apparently these latex pillows have an incredibly weird smell. Probably a bit of a try before you buy type of situation…which means going in to Myer to, uh, smell their pillows.

    • Yeah, I have latex pillows, they do smell a bit different but only something that would be an issue if you bury your face in it. But they hold their shape for years, I'd never go back to a polyester fibre pillow after sleeping on latex pillows for the last 5 years.

  • This is memory foam not latex. I foolishly tried to sleep on my memory foam mattress on day 1 and awoke through the night dazed and confused. Had to air it for a week before I was game to get on again.

The memory foam pillow didn't smell though. It was, however, one of those modern weirdo designs that lock your head in one position and I couldn't use it.

  • For those who have access to Costco, they have this one for $59 and the Latex one for $49 :)

The Costco one isnt the gel+memory foam one last i checked. It was just memory foam.

      • Yes, you are correct :), i think i should have read the title properly next time. Anyway, IMO, latex pillow feels better than memory foam pillow.

    • Is this selling in Costco right now?? Would love to know, thanks!

      • They do have the latex and normal memory foam one on sale at the moment, and i prefer to buy stuff from costco since you can just return it if it doesn't suit you (or your head :P )
