  Is an up to date cut down version better than an older full photoshop?

  The fact that they have an Australian RMA mailing address is not proof that this particular drive has international warranty, nor that you'll be able to return it to the Australian address.

  Note that if the shock status of the drive is triggered during shipping (and this is about the longest shipping possible on this planet), you'll have zero warranty.
