  I'm going camping on Wednesday on the Murry River near Renmark (Lock 7) and I'm looking at a WiFi dongle like the Telstra Elite. Does anyone know how long the battery lasts, how good is the signal (compared to next G phones) and if it can be charged with a car charger?

    I have the elite as a backup modem…Battery lasts a few hours if you have moderate usage longer if just a few emails etc.

    have charged mine thru my micro usb cable connection in cigi lighter no probs.

    Signal is good (should be fine if close to Renmark tower)
