Norton 360 Free after $50 Cashback

140

Harvey Norman are selling Norton 360 v7 1user for $50, and you can claim $50 cashback from Norton.

I ordered this to pickup at my local store, and have lodged the cashback claim so can confirm it works.

Not as good as making money like previous Norton cashback deals but a free 12month subscription for my anti-virus is pretty good.

    Have you got the cash?

    • Have you got the cash?

I think they usually send a gift card or an eftpos card right? in the hope that you don't use it.

      • well that is hopeless, why wouldnt you use it? its money.
But with norton they send you a cheque to bank, i prefer the eftpos though cause eftpos= instant access, with cheque you have to wait 4-5 days

      • They post a Bank cheque.

  • Just got my $40 cheque after the DSE $35 deal with NAV

  • PS. I feel sorry for the previous post

  • Ahhh. Before we all get to excited as this has been posted here before the promo started late last year.

AS there is a limit of 6000 claims I wouldn't be surprised that it has already been full paid out.

    See Below.

If you purchase a full-version Norton 360 v7 (2013) 1 User 1 PC box from a participating retailer in Australia or New Zealand between December 17, 2012 and March 31, 2013 inclusive, you can claim a $50 rebate from Symantec.

Click the $50 BACK button below for how to claim your rebate.

Claims close at 11.59pm AWST on March 31, 2013.*

So its a case as you might be the last claim better get it in before next Thursday :)

    Happy Oz bargaining.

    • Ehh? There is no limit to the number of claims on the Norton website or in the Norton terms and conditions.

There IS a 6000 limit to the number of $50 Norton 360 boxes from Harvey Norman.

Also yes, cashback is a cheque in 6-10 weeks. I have never had a problem receiving my cheque from Norton once my claim has been lodged and confimation email received.

      • I like the Norton cash back procedure. Got it twice. The best part is you apply online and get the confirmation email.

  • +1

Or you could use Microsoft Security Essentials, which is free to begin with and which doesn't cripple your system.

    • MSE is garbage, has failed AV-test certification for quite some time now. Comodo Internet Security Premium is a great package if you want something free, although for a main system I buy Bitdefender Internet Security keys off eBay for ~$6USD per year - easily the best AV/Firewall package around at the moment.

Norton, since 2011, has really picked up its game in being less resource intensive and also really effective at its protection.

  • It will be a cheque after 10 weeks.
Cant use 5% off ing paywave at hn… not as good as jb before.
