Does this 3G version have the same quality control problem as the non-3G?
Do you mean the units are shipped "dead on arrival". (due to the battery disconnecting in transit?) Yes my bro ordered one a few weeks back and had this situation with a 3G version. The fix procedure of removing and remounting the battery worked, however worries me that such a glitch got past quality control, plus having to dismantle a brand new device isn't a great starting point.
Just curious.. MLN does have physical stores.. Would we be safe to assume we can walk in and buy this for $299 or is an MLN online only thing? $299 is the Magick number from a tax viewpoint… ;)
MLN takes pick ups. There are 4 stores in the city.
