  You likely meant to write transfer rather than bandwidth which in this case would be based on your connection.
  And unlimited means without limits, no way in the world are you going to let me use your servers to wget a 9TB files -o /dev/null now are you?

  Can I stream audio?

  Audio/Video Streaming is not hosting friendly. As such, ServersINseconds does not allow any streaming of audio or video content. Offending accounts will be suspended without noticed or terminated.

  Sounds like a predetermined limit to me.

  All account plans come with a predetermined amount of traffic allowance. We monitor all accounts and the servers automatically suspend any account which exceeds it's traffic allowance.

    Spoke to friend who is solicitor, and ran a "fantasy" of recouping money from Matthew Goodwin (et al) of Servergrade.

    She (solicitor friend) suggested that the time and effort to recoup any monies would be a waste.

    However, when she discovered that Servergrade had tried to renew a subscrition for web hosting via PayPal only DAYS before going to ground, she suggested this might be indicative of some criminal fraud.

      Hi pmupsinep.

      I ran ServerGrade with thousands of happy clients for ~10 years. Unfortunately I had a major health problem, and service suffered for approximately two weeks, before the business was bought out by Uber Global.

      Clients received the hosting they paid for, and were transferred to the Jumba brand during that time.

      The posted you link to - andyken - tried our service and found that we didn't suit his substantial needs. He requested a refund under our 30 day money back guarantee, and was refunded his payment.

      We did have a downtime after we posted one of our bargains here, and the cause of that we identified and the issue was fixed. Clients were refunded the price of their monthly web hosting plan back to them in full.

    Hi umsgate.

    I prefer the term transfer too, but in cPanel it's referred to as bandwidth, and sometime customers can get confused.

    Customers are free to utilize our 10MBs pipe as they see fit, as long as they're not deliberately abusing it as you suggest.

    The streaming of audio and video I'm happy to look at. We've had that policy in place for quite a while, but I agree that perhaps it's time to remove that considering the advances in websites since it as first introduced.

    No, you cannot host adult content on your site with us.

    We're a website hosting service, rather than a file hosting service, so the 150MB limitation shouldn't be an issue. If it is an issue, we would need to have a look at the site and the impact it is having on our servers and and clients hosted on that server. If there's no problem, there's no problem.

    We don't host newsgroups, or content that comes from newsgroups that contain content against our TOS.

    The votes we receive are genuine, and I'm sure the administrators of Ozbargain have verified this.
