      paid for express shipping delivery of 3g lte last sunday.. just checked the shipping tracker few mins ago and the item is still in HK, not happy at all..

        should definitely make a complain if you dont receive the item by monday.
        On the other note, 3G LTE? i thought LTE are 4G

          LTE is 4G you are correct (in Australia)
          -i think some OS telcos call 3G+ ummm 4G (possibly Canada ?)

          I meant SG3 LTE hehe..

          I ordered last Sunday, asked to verified my cc on Monday which i did promptly.. got email from them on Wed and was given the tracking number.. tracking number showed that the item was shipped on Thursday and as of now, it's still showing as in transit in Hongkong.

          I will try to be reasonable and wait until Tuesday / at max Wednesday, but to be honest its disappointing.

          And for those of you who dont feel comfortable ordering a phone with broken seal, be warned! I for one don't really mind if it looks brand new..

          well tracking with Chinese delivery isnt very good. It might say its in hong kong but it might be in australia already. Considering it was posted on Tuesday/Wednesday it should arrive in Australia on the friday, but Australia post doesnt work over the weekend meaning it will be at least monday before you receive the item. It happen to me all the time, i blame australia post. Its all because you first time buying, had to verify your credit card that there is a delay on postage. If you are buying something in china it help to make the order on a Thursday or Friday because they work over the weekend and you would likely to receive your item on a monday or tuesday. If you order on sunday/monday or tuesday, expect to add saturday and sunday to the waiting list due to Australia post tardiness.

      but … SG6 and iPhone8 would already be on the market by then! (intentional exaggeration).

      anyways, i had a similar thinking but what i have realized is that companies like samsung, apple practically throw away old stock rather than reducing the price substantially. take SG2 for example, it was selling strong for 350$ until SG4 was announced. and it still is 300$.

      long story short, i reckon it's better to pay 50$ extra and use a device while it's still "good enough"

    Given that 4G coverage is still limited and the only reliable provider is still telstra, is it worth to get 4G compatible phone now? Just asking not trolling

      yes. if you are thinking of keeping the phone longer than 6 months. but keep in mind the 4G version uses more battery juice. And on a side note, Optus has better 4G coverage, atleast here in syd.

        The 4G also has 2GB of ram, which is the one thing the S3 should have had all along.

          But 4G misses out on FM radio if that matters to you. You can still use internet radio, but that chews data and sound quality is not as good.

    This is grey stock and should be noted in the description so that people know it has no local Samsung warranty and will take longer to be delivered.

    Ordered from these guys last Friday and phone was delivered Tuesday when I paid for Express shipping, so no complaints at all from the shipping perspective.

    However, the seal was broken on my phone when it arrived.
