Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 5W-30 Oil 4.83L $56 SYD Pickup

80

I was looking to buy some oil for my Accord Euro recently for service and wanted to go with Mobil 1 due to the high performance ratings for this oil. Could not find it any cheaper than these guys, also found a lot of genuine oils like for Toyota and Honda vehicles. Great price and products. My Stealership wanted to charge me $90+GST for Honda Genuine Fully Synthetic which is a rebranded Mobil 1.

They also have an Ebay Store.

  • I have used this company before to buy Mobil1 for my bike.
Great prices. They also have an eBay store

    • Great, thanks for reminding me. I just updated the post about their ebay store.

  • Thank you for this.
And looks like there's a pickup location at Eastwood, which is very very close to me.

  • This is their standard price. I buy almost all my oil from GL Lubricants. They are tops.

  • The only version of mobil1 thats any good is the 0W40. Its the only one thats MB229.5 approved. If the price is the same, and your car can use a 40 weight, always choose the 0W40 instead of the other lesser M1 blends.

    • +1

      My vehicle specifications say 5W-30

  • Yes these guys have good prices on quality lubricants but is this really a "deal"?

    Maybe belongs in forum…

I consider this as an ongoing deal as they are cheaper than everyone else ATM. What else would you call a DEAL?

      • A price that's not available everyday.

        • yeh. a continuous deal should be shared in the forums and a genuine limited time "bargain" belongs as a "deal" post.

that's just my opinion. there's no hard rule around it.

Good find. Prices are cheaper than sale prices at SCA, repco and autobarn for mobil1.
Finding it hard to find 5w-20 which is the manual recommended oil for my new focus.

  • GL Lubricants is also very popular with the Audi and VW boys…
especially the TDI drivers needing VW 507 spec oil - Mobil 1 ESP 5W30 DPF approved $13/lt

I have used him in the past.

  • Been using them for a while now…Great blokes… I am using Mobil 5W-30 EP around $12 /L. They also have a warehouse in Sefton NSW. From memory Eastwood pickups use to be only after 6PM.

    • can also pickup on weekends. It's the guy's home garage lol

  • Not bad if you can pick them up! I live in Melbourne so it's not an option for me.

I import K&N oil filters from Amazon US, which are basically the same as the Mobil 1 EP filters they're selling for $18 each.

I pay $15 each for my K&N oil filters (including postage from the US), so being able to by the M1 EP filters for a few bucks more is pretty good!

    • I usually just wait for him to have free shipping, then i buy a heap…. haha

    • Read one of my replies down there, someone else in Melbourne are as cheap as him though I've never used them myself.

  • What's the link to their eBay store?
I tried to find it via an eBay search .. the results weren't quite what I was expecting..
"0 results found for gllubricants, so we searched for lubricants. Related Searches: personal lubricants, adults toys, lubrication, adults only, sextoy, dildoes".

  • I've bought ~$1k worth of fluid off him in the past year and will continue to do so until someone manage to beat his prices (well there is someone else down in Melbourne that's slightly cheaper but when I factor in freight, GL is cheaper). With my recent purchase, I've ordered it on Tuesday night, paid for it on Wednesday morning and delivered Thursday morning.

Tip: for those of us with novated lease or claiming GST, be very specific to them you want a big fat TAX INVOICE wording splashed across the actual invoice itself though your NL provider/accountant might not be as anal as mine.

    • (well there is someone else down in Melbourne that's slightly cheaper but when I factor in freight, GL is cheaper)

Do please share this source for your Mexican brothers.

    • Good advice for making sure it's a tax invoice for novated leases. Although I think what's more important to the tax office is that is specifies the seller's ABN and the amount of GST charged (even if GST is $0).

      • Google "tax invoice sample" and look for a specific ATO link, that should spell out pretty clearly how it needs to be structured. Their ABN and GST amount was there but it wasn't in the correct format…
