  You might want to try Super Ubuntu, it already has apps included in the ISO/LiveCD

    Darn. I was going to vote +1 when I thought it's a free guide on an African dialect. Then it's this Linux thingy. Huh?!

    Not sure why people are giving this free eBook so many pos+ votes — it's getting more and more common for tech books to release a free eBook version. By the way, for those who are interested in Haskell, here's the free read-online version of Real World Haskell :)
