  You cant get the votes if you unpublish the deal - just leave it and the votes will swarm. See my comments in your now unpublished post on how this secret "bug" works

Unfortunately the FREE deals can be lacking in substance. Case in point http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/6508 As far as I know nobody received any samples.
