Well they are out of stock

    • OP's location of 2000 shows as in stock.

      • it's out of stock online, i don't think you can pick up in store?

        • Officeworks will show things as in / out of stock depending on what location you've set (they should explain this more clearly as this often pops up for ow deals on ozb).

To clarify I meant only delivery was available for 2000, not in store.

    • says in stock for me

    No they are not!

  • out of stock

    • It is still showing as in stock for 2000.

  • what makes this monitor good ? Doesn't seem to have that good a features.

    • Colours are definitely better than cheap TN trash. 16:10 is a far more usable ratio than 16:9 - you need to scroll more on a 16:9 monitor. Computer monitors aren't TVs, and shouldn't have the same aspect ratio - use your TV to watch movies on. Being able to pivot the monitor to portrait orientation is fantastic for those of us who deal with portrait photography and read comics/ebooks.

    • It is IPS and colour rendering is fantastic. It has a matte finish to reduce glare, it has a tonne of input connections. A 24' 16:10 has more screen area than a 24' 16:9. It has a 3 year warranty and Dell looks after its customers really well

Just overprice for a IPS monitor, and Dell's quality not matching the others major brand.

      U2410

      • H-IPS, not E-IPS (E-IPS is a cheaper / cost effective version of IPS)
      • A good range of input options (DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI, VGA)
      • USB Hub with USB card reader (USB 2.0)
      • Pre-calibrated
      • 110 per cent sRGB (96 per cent Adobe RGB) colour gamut

      Not so good bits:

      • Price
      • It was designed more than 3 years ago - USB 2.0 support is considered dated nowadays (USB 3.0 is more current)
      • No ATW polarizer (cost issue) means the black is not black enough compared to NEC pro IPS monitors (especially from an angle). Even cheaper E-IPS monitors display better black.

Its also out of stock everywhere now.

Hideous anti glare coating on these monitors otherwise they would be quite good

  • shows in stock postcode 2234

  • Has anyone bought one yet?

  • None in SA.

  • U2413 has been announced (and is available in the US). Old U2410 stock will be cleared once the U2413 is sold here…
