well they use it to push their other apps already and sell 'eagles' as well so I don't know where else they can go with it but I'm sure they will try.
Who would seriously sped money on those eagles though, lets be honest
Angry Birds Rio is also free… https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/angry-birds-rio/id420635506?…
but I reckong they maybe pushing to in-app purchases since the descriptions doesnt mention anything about Free for limited time etc…
Thought seasons was free…poopoo
yay my collection of paid apps (through free limited offers) is nearly complete
Anyone here tried Ninja Bees? It's a lot like Angry Birds, just better! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.larku.ninj…
finally have my entire angry birds trilogy on iphone for free. angry birds space and star wars next?
I have a couple of the games already and they're definitely pushing the in-app purchases like different types of birds etc plus 1 "freebie" every other day.
I feel (well felt anyway, it's been a while since I played) that some of the in-app purchases, like eagles or other birds etc were against the spirit/challenge of the game. It gives you a set of birds that have individual skills and are supposed to be used in specific ways to effect the highest score….but if you like pay some cash for a massive destruction bird that will give you the highest score anyway, and even after then the high score is not worth the glory as the leaderboards are hacked?
turns out to be the 2nd Angry Birds title featured on App of the week, Rovio is sure up to something.
People would actually pay for this if it wasn't on sale?
Last time I checked Rovio wasn't doing too bad. Probably got nothing on Zygna though. I bet people spend way more on their games. I know people who spend money on Zynga's "Candy Crush Saga" game.
anyone know if they're moving to an ad-based/in app purchase based freemium model on iOS, or is this just a sale?
