  • At first blush it looks alright, but…

    2G Network GSM 900 / 1800 - SIM 1 & SIM 2
    3G Network HSDPA 2100

Yeah, single band 3G network == very poor 3G connectivity.

But price/performance wise this is pretty good.

  • I'd say yes, but 4GB(1.77 GB user available) can be a let down for apps. 8MP camera means nothing, you need to look at reviews.

    Micromax A116 Canvas HD Pro
    $120 cheaper
    Microsd slot
    dual sim
    fm radio

    Nexus 4 Pros
    Better cpu
    Better gpu
    2x ram
    Gorilla glass 2
    8GB internal storage(around 5.5GB usable)
    NFC
    DLNA
    DC-HSDPA
    Better camera
    Latest android version
Receives updates faster and longer period of time
Able to be used on more Australian networks

    • add back resale value (perhaps 50%?) of a nexus in 2-3 years and you'll be in front with the nexus.

      buy once. buy quality.

  • ahh ok thanks, Nexus 4 is available somewhere now?for how much?

  • +1

Nexus 4 is $349 for the 8GB, $399 for the 16GB and add $20 for shipping.

I purchased one myself and can safely say that it is by far one of the best phones I have used, and definitely value for money. Is it worth spending $100 more than what this phone costs? I can't say for sure, but I'd probably say that the build quality, parts quality etc are probably superior in the Nexus 4 compared to this phone

Hahaha, I like how you just copied and pasted what TheAviator1992 said above and added a few spam links, then replaced Nexus 4 with your no-name phone thats apparently more 'superior'.

    • http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/94228#comment-1257566 Nexus 4 has all this better/extra features for $50 more and it is known brand.
