    Sorry, no dodge COTD stuff.

    • Huh?
How is a Phillips brand case with a WD drive dodge?
Or do you have a personal issue against COTD?
If so, it's a poor excuse for a negative.

Surely you know enough about OzBargain to learn of the bad blood between COTD and numerous members here.
In case you were unaware see here: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/7373
Summary: COTD pulled an almost unforgiveable publicity stunt at the expense of their potential customers.

Can you rate a deal based on the source company's reputation? I think you can.

        • So you agree that Dell deals should be rated down by people?
Using the COTD birthday debacle as an example of how bad COTD are is on par with saying Dell is an unreputable dealer becasue of their Vostro double debacle.
          That's ridiculous..

I haven't bought much from COTD, but I've dealt with them about 7 times.. One time I had something arrive DOA, it was dealt with professionally and quickly.

    • Edit: Unnecessarily smarmy comment.. bringing myself down to M27's level.

    • I 2nd this

Hardly a bargain when Bing Lee (with 40 stores in NSW/ACT) are doing the 320GB Verbatim for $119 http://binglee.shoplocal.com/binglee/Default.aspx?action=det… .

You get a 2 year warranty and its' a 'proper' Verbatim product, not a cheap HDD and enclosure slapped together (though obviously, Verbatim are using another brand HDD).

    • Take note, M27..
      This is a valid negative..
I'm not against giving negatives, but there has to be a proper reason.

  • Can someone change the category from Apparel to something more meaningful?
    Thanks,

    • Dunno how apparrel got there.. I'll fix it.

        Yes I do..
some idiot didn't change the default selection..
        :-)

        • The title should also state the total price including shipping.

  • I'm not gonna -ve it but the case looks like any cheap asian import, Big W usually sells proper WD external hard drive's for $100-$119… (plus you gotta add shipping).

  • not a bargain and its COTD. sorry

  • Frankly, you guys have no idea..
Staticice prices for equivalent drives start at $130 (plus shipping)
ebay prices for a bare drive start at $104 plus shipping..
It's not an absolute steal but it's the cheapest I can find.
