Was reading a blog in the USA once, where the lady said her family uses cotton rags. After using they put them into a bucket to be washed and reused again. Even I'M not that cheap.

    if you wanna be real cheap just steal paper towels from HJs Maccas etc.
    
    they were the source of the poo so why not use their resources to clean it up
